Non-Fiction
Nonfiction is an account or representation of a subject which is presented as fact. This presentation may be accurate or not; that is, it can give either a true or a false account of the subject in question. However, it is generally assumed that the authors of such accounts believe them to be truthful at the time of their composition.

Sash and Richard were high school students from Oakland, California, but they inhabited different worlds. Sasha, a white teen, lived in the foothills and attended a private school. Richard, a black teen, lived in the flatlands and attended a public school. Each day, their paths overlapped for eight minutes on the 57 bus. Until a reckless act left Sasha severely burned, and Richard charged with two hate crimes and facing life imprisonment. The case garnered international attention, thrusting both teenagers into the spotlight.
